DJ Dean is a left-footed winger with good and footwork in tight spaces and a strong first step. Dean plays good balls into the box from the wing and can get forward well on the wing or through the middle thanks to link-up play. He is well-adept and changing direction quickly and can get free from defenders as well. Dean has spent the last two years with the Tulsa Roughnecks of the USL Championship.
