Ben, a physical presence in the team attack, can play as a 9 or 11. He has the physique to play back to goal and the pace to play in behind the oppositions back line as well. During his amateur career he made his mark at Oakland University where he was named the Horizon League Tournament MVP in his junior campaign, helping propell the Grizzlies to the NCAA National Tournament.
During the spring/summer of 2014 Ben was a key member of the Michigan Bucks PDL National Championship side. Ben is currently coming off a season of professional football with Swedish 2nd division side; Ånge IF.
