The German midfielder had a banner junior campaign in 2016, earning first-team All-WAC honors as well as first-team NSCAA All-West Region recognition after scoring a team-high nine goals. In addition, Hoffmeister was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America second team and an NSCAA/NCAA All-American, the first of which to do so in UVU program history.
Hoffmeister is a dangerous attacking threat who can be deployed as the 7 or 11. He is very gifted in 1v1 duels and has a natural knack for find the back of the net. He is a player to watch in future years as he looks to make a name for himself at the professional levels.
