Ruhaak, regarded as a top pro prospect, has high level experience as both a 4 & 2. This past fall he was an All First Team MAC Selection at the University of Akron for the second consecutive season. A team captain, he helped anchor an Akron defensive unit that posted 9 shutouts on the season. Along with his defensive efforts Ruhaak was lethal on attacking set pieces, racking up 4 goal & 3 assists, which were good for 11 points.
In the spring/summer of 2016 Ruhaak was a mainstay in the Michigan Bucks backline as he lead the club to the PDL National Championship.
