Woods, a naturally left footed 3, is a product of the Columbus Crew. He competed at the University of Michigan for 4 years, where he was a staple at left back for the Wolverines. He is a dangerous attacking left back. Very strong defensively and very effective in the team attack with his ability to get forward as a wide attacker.
Woods is also a set piece specialist and during his Junior season (2015) he led the Wolverines in assists. In the summer of 2016 Woods spent time with the Columbus Crew College training program.
