Federico Barrios is a well-versed goalkeeper with strengths in his positioning as well as his shot-stopping. Barrios can make strong saves from point-blank range, and his positioning in net allows him to make those saves easier as a result. He also understands when to come out of his net to clear his lines, and when to hold strong in net. He is comfortable and confident with the ball at his feet playing it longer to his attackers or shorter to his defenders. He was named to the 2019 All-Atlantic 10 First Team as the top keeper in the conference having started and played in twenty games for Dayton.
