Emmanuel Kouma is a skilled midfielder most who can be deployed as a deeper defensive midfielder. Kouma’s speed allows him to get forward and into space through the center of the pitch. He also possesses enough strength to hold off would-be defenders. He is also a strong tackler standing up well into challenges in the heart of the pitch and is also versatile having spent time at right back in college. He has spent the past two summers with MLS U23 sides (NYRB and Seattle Sounders in 2018 and 2019, respectively) while also serving as a four-year starter at Rider University.
