Suarez is a tricky winger who has enjoyed his football at an international level. He was a member of the Cuban National Team in the 2015 Gold Cup, coming on as a sub in two of their group stage matches.

Suarez's most recent stint was spent with NPSL side AFC Ann Arbor. Super Dario as he came to be known by the fans, earned a share of the Great Lakes West Division Golden Boot. Suarez not only led The Mighty Oak in goals but also tied for the lead in assists and made a significant impact off the field as one of the teams most respected leaders.
