Daniel Gagliardi is a goalkeeper who excels at playing out from back and embraces the physical aspects of the position. Gagliardi is comfortable passing while under pressure and maintains his accuracy even with attackers bearing down. He is willing to come out and claim tough balls and assert the box as his area. He will also start counter attacks off claims with a stellar long throw or accurate kick. Gagliardi is also an excellent decision maker in deciding whether to catch or punch clear, and he has good hands to make catches off hard-hit shots. He is wrapping up his career at FIU having spent five years in the program.
