Connor Rutz is an attacking midfielder with excellent field vision. Rutz is big and strong enough to hold defenders off while getting forward. He also has good footwork in tough areas which, combined with his strength, helps him find time and place the right pass. He also has a solid finish with his right foot as he can strike the ball hard and well from around the box. Rutz is set to graduate from Saginaw Valley State having spent the last three years with the program.
