Austin Day is a left-footed defender who can feature at left back or at right back. Day’s right foot is also quite strong and he is able to deliver, make tackles, and dribble past defenders with his right -- making him capable to play either side well. Day can cut inside from either left or right back and is a two-way player. His positional awareness and understanding when to get forward and when to stay back make him a solid outside back for any system of play. Day spent his collegiate career with Grand Canyon University.
